Hmm, probably be easier to convince anyone under 30 to have a leg amputated than to not have one of their ridiculous little screens with them 24/7/365. Poor kids, they'll never know what it's like to not have one of those goddamn tethers attached to them all the time.

Even though the story makes this seem like a new idea, it's been assumed for years that you don't take electronic devices to certain destinations.

That includes the US.

Just do what a lot of other people do: bring a burner phone. My brother in law works for one of the bigger tech companies in the US, and he was told to do that when he took a trip to China a few years ago.
