Why the fuck did they join the army then? OR were these people able to put their "objections" to the side when all they saw was a job and a paycheque?
I guess it's cool to play soldier but when the shit hits the fan, and the fan is on high, all of a sudden the military is "objectionable".

It's not worth it to break a long standing and generally well honoured extradition treaty with the U.S. in general, let alone because of two or three instances and you could bet there will be tons more if we did.

The US drops the death penalty on criminals they seek here, and they generally do it without a lot of pouting. They honour the agreement so should we.

Kennedy is 23 slots away from getting a private member's bill into the Order of Precedence for debate in the House. A vote on this would not take place until late Spring at the earliest. May be an election before then.

Amen, I have not problem giving shelter to people drafted into the army and forced to fight. However if you enlist in the army than you do the job you signed up for, which is do what the government tells you to do, they say jump you say "how high?"

The US had the draft or selective service in all major conflicts yet Canada only accepted a number during the Vietnam war. The 50,000 to 90,000 that ran to Canada were treated in Canada as immigrants. This was just Trudeau giving the finger to the US in yet another arogant little display of anti-Americanism.

Our Canadians citizenship is worth more than that.
