Yawn.

Middle of the pack taxes no where near more then most on earth, an ever increasing manufacturing industry and an auto industry on the skids only under a conservative government and a country that is going somewhere.

Oh, and that Taliban created by a former afghan freedom fighter. [B-o]

It's not middle of the pack. You keep saying that proving you can't read. If you can read please prove it. It is well ABOVE the middle of the pack as the chart shows. it's also clearly more than most people on earth pay.

$1:
an ever increasing manufacturing industry and an auto industry on the skids only under a conservative government and a country that is going somewhere.

Mnnn,no. It's the best we could do mired under 75 years of Liberal dependance on selling resources rather than building something long term. The very fact that the only thing you can point to is one failing auto undustry proves we're in poor shape compared with where we should be in the manufacturing sector.

$1:
Oh, and that Taliban created by a former afghan freedom fighter
Yes the Taliban was created and funded by one man . Nope. Once more for the those with a learning disablity like you:
$1:
What actually happened was that the Pakistan intelligence agency had created a group called the Taliban to help them in their endless conflict with India.

That's only income tax and you know that. We're not talking strictly about income tax. What about sales tax? what about property tax? What about 'sin' tax?
We already went through this and you already know it. Makes your chart pointless and desperate.

While we're at it, excerpt from Gwynne Dyers book, "Afghanistan: A War Won and Lost":
Gwynne Dyer Gwynne Dyer:
Pakistan, whose intelligence services had
originally created the Taliban,
withdrew its support, the regime fled
Kabul, and most of the Taliban troops melted back into their villages. The
government of a country of 27 million people was taken down for a death
toll that probably did not exceed 4,000 on all sides.

Whatever. I already posted countries with higher sales tax (and sales tax is less of an impact then income tax).

You can factor in all the taxes but your precious link is using OECD stats and the OECD is saying Canada is average in amount taxed.

Mullah Mohammed Omar (Pashto: ملا محمد عمر) (born c. 1959, Nodeh, near Kandahar[1]) often simply called Mullah Omar, is the leader of the Taliban of Afghanistan and was Afghanistan's de facto head of state

Mullah Omar started his movement with less than 50 armed madrassah students, known simply as the Taliban (Students). His recruits came from madrassahs in Afghanistan and Pakistan and from the Afghan refugee camps across the border in Pakistan. They fought against the rampant corruption that had emerged in the civil war period and were initially welcomed by Afghans weary of warlord rule.
Reportedly, in early 1994, Omar led 30 men armed with 16 rifles to free two girls who had been kidnapped and raped by local commanders.[14] His movement gained momentum through the year, and he quickly gathered recruits from Islamic schools. By November 1994, Omar's movement managed to capture the province of Kandahar and then captured Herat in September 1995.[15]

yawn. We can keep this up all day sunshine so I'll think I'll let you have the last word (kinda like sending a child to cry themselves out in their room) with any response you might make.

 Derby thinks the Taliban was invented by one man. One more time:
Gwynne Dyer Gwynne Dyer:
Pakistan, whose intelligence services had
originally created the Taliban,
withdrew its support, the regime fled
Kabul, and most of the Taliban troops melted back into their villages. The
government of a country of 27 million people was taken down for a death

He also can't recognize where on a chart the 'middle' is:

I doubt that very much. I've just finished laying the kind of forum-"ass kicking" on you that you wish you could do, so I don't think you're ready to quit yet. You have a few more attempts to 'win' left in you

VAT / sales tax data

Oh look we are at the top in some stats.

Looks like we were among the better countries for net wages.

I hated breaking my last word statement but when you find gold you just got to share it. You go ahead and repost your Frasier institute link but the fact is Canadians aren't being taxed more then most people on earth.

 Thanks for proving me right yet again. That's 4 times now.

Again you provide stats on INCOME TAX only which of course doesn't prove anything. I see you need to read it again one more time...this covers sales tax, income tax property tax and goods and services taxes COMBINED for thirty years running, not just one year.:

You can post your false data all you want but the facts are that Canada pays about middle of the pack taxes.

http://www.worldtaxpayers.org/statpres.htm - middle of the pack and comparing the last few decades.

http://www.worldtaxpayers.org/statvat.htm - your precious VAT taxes taken into account. Middle of the pack.

http://www.oecd.org/document/6/0,3343,e ... 27,00.html - middle of the pack and its OECD data genius.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tax_rates_around_the_world - middle of the pack

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_co ... age_of_GDP - middle of the pack.

http://www.heritage.org/index/Ranking.aspx - Canada with a high index of economic freedom.

Image

If you think our sales tax jumps Canada way up on that chart you are delusional.

Once again we find that you made a snap comment about canadians being taxed more then most people on earth and nowhere have you proven that case.
