$1:
What he did was wrong....there is no disputing that, but this kid was 14 when he was first captured...well.. according to the young Offenders Act this lad would only get 3 years for murder so why is it that 7 years later he is still in jail without a trial.

so let's be happy he was throwing grenades inAfghanistan.

$1:
No matter how you feel about terrorists, due process is in the Charter of Rights, as soon as he was taken into custody and held...he was entitled to at least a trial...even a false one

He is not in Canada.. nor the US for that matter

$1:
It would have been better that he was shot and left for dead instead of wasting Medicine and health care on his ass....at least 7 years later no one would be asking questions.

I completely agree.. we should immediately execute all terrorists as is our right under the GC...

just saw a piece on tv.. al-qaeda training children younger than 10 .. must be running low on men.

so instead of promising virgins, soon they will be sending virgins to allah.

This whole war rules thing is getting annoying, You practicly can't do anything anymore, luckly the terrorists spray and pray and can't shoot for shit or all the soldiers would be dead right now with all these rules.

Since he's in US custody and being charged with a crime committed in a foreign country, it's really a stretch to say his Charter Rights are being violated.

The only problem I've got here is that the guy who shot him missed. What we need is better training for basic weapons qual's. No more figure four targets, all simulated combat training should be done with volunteers from the Guantanmo Bay Resort and Beach Hotel.

well I dont like tories or harper,,, , but I hope the senate passes the kick em out law... it was sent to the senate today.. means anyone who is suspected of acts or plans of terrorism or there is evidence will be deported... like the asshole in Quebec who is supposed to be homeless.. said he wasnt a flight risk because he had no money... ya right.. as soon as he has bail he will have cash.. to make somemore explosives.. he said it and it hit the nail on the head.. quote
" we are all terrorists" (muslims according to him) its in our blood, we will kill all infidels... end quote... so my question is how long are we going to put up with this shit..? and why do we allow them to come here?

Why was a civilian Canadian teenager in Afghanistan when it was a war zone? Answer: He was a fucking terrorist. Pure and simple.

They should of killed him and have this story long dead. Why are some Canadians rallying around this idiot? Its pathetic. He is a traitor. He betrayed his country, and therefore, should be executed.

This whole sad story could have been prevented if Canada's most corrupt PM, Chretien, didn't bail his dad out of Pakistani jail back in 96.

$1:
Ahmed Said Khadr became known to Canadians in 1996, when he was arrested in Pakistan and accused of complicity in a terrorist bombing of the Egyptian embassy in Islamabad, a bombing that killed 15 people. He went on a hunger strike and was interviewed by reporters in an Islamabad hospital. "I'm Canadian. I am 100 per cent innocent person," he said.

In January 1996, Prime Minister Jean Chrétien was on a Team Canada trade mission to Pakistan.

Ahmed Said Khadr's wife and some of their children came to Chrétien's hotel in Islamabad to plead the case of her husband. The oldest son, Abdullah, who was 15 at the time, remembers his encounter with the Canadian prime minister.

"He told me that 'once I was a son of a farmer, and I became prime minister. Maybe one day you will become one.' That was a nice compliment."

Jean Chrétien raised the Khadr case with the Pakistani prime minister at the time, Benazir Bhutto, and within weeks, Ahmed Said Khadr was released. He resumed his life, which he claimed was devoted to charity work in Afghanistan.

dosen't get much softer on crime than this.

prove it!
So far all you have is a re-run of the same trial that found Mulroney innocent. You have the same old actors, the same old facts and, even with the help of the CBC, you'll get the same results. The only difference will be the size of Mulroney's lawsuit at the end.

Address the issupe at hand though:

That terrorist bastard was in Pakistani jail for blowing up a embassy. Chretien got him out.
Pretty sad judge of charactor, wouldn't you say?
