Nazis these days beleive in killing Jews, Blacks, and anyone not Aryan. or at least beating the living shit out of them while chanting '88' over and over again. Communists these days smoke pot, hate corporations, form unions, and want peace. Yeah you see alot of that in Cuba... when the government isn't busy restricting the rights and freedoms of the population.

While your communist buddies are smoking pot and hating, maybe they should learn what misery their ideology has brought to mankind. It's like saying that Nazis were just a bad example of some fascists who got carried away. For some strange reason, under communism, they all seem to get carried away.

Ask people in the Middle East what they think of capitalism. What they think of puppet governments. Or what they think of Dictatorships, like in Sadams regime...

and I won't take spin against it as an answer. When I say that Cuba restricts the rights and freedoms of its population, you think that is spin? Stay in school!

There's a huge difference between the psuedo intellectual you describe who's dabbling in socialism and real communists. Hardcore communists are ready and willing to use force to get their utopian socialist state and once in power have now quams about turning the dream of Karl Marx into a totalitarian regime replete with labour camps, no free elections, and repressions that'd make your hair go grey. So, you can continue to delude yourself into believing that the communists are just a group of pot loving socialists or you can read a bit more history to see just what they're really like. Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn's books would be a good place to start.

Approximately 600,000 dead in Iraq has been teh biggest massacre in this milleniium, and communism had bugger-all to do with it. Your partisan hackery is all well and fine, but let's keep it in Parliament, not in dumb-ass "memorials" like this.
