Typical tory twisting of facts.. I did not say English Canadians have a learning disability.. I asked the question do English people have difficulty learning languages.. When 50% ( probably higher now) of french people are bilinual and only 10% of English are.. it begs the question right? Why such a vast differential. My great uncle never spoke a word of English until 5 yrs ago..he is 87.. now I would consider him fluent in English.. I have an English cousin who is 45, she works for the government. She took 7 french lessons and dropped out admitting that it was too difficult.. I am fortunate to have been born to both English and french cultures. I believe in bilingualism and think it should be available to all Canadians
