I seriously doubt her position changed because of some personal revelation or proof of truth. It was likely only changed after it was pointed out that her batshit crazy conspiracy theory position bordered on the absurd and would destroy her chances of election.


Politicians are somewhat pragmatic when it comes to survival and will change their spots or in this case position at will if they think it'll help them get elected.

After stepping back and reflecting on recent events, I have decided to resign as the Liberal candidate for Cowichan–Malahat–Langford.
