if they thought it was that unsafe they should not have been flying there. Thousands if not millions of AC of similar type have made xxx number of takeoff and landings with no issues.

Always looking for someone to blaim... Anyone who flies will tell you that it's not a surefire, 100% science. I do believe 80% of all aviation incidents are the result of pilot error... and it's not like Air France has the most amazing safety record, either.
