This lady has been a perfect choice.
We should scrap the parties and let her rule.

Until someone can explain a viable end goal and the method that is going to be used to get there, it’s already a waste of Canadian lives and money. Just more proof of the GG position being irrelevant.

Bullshit. If that were the case, you should be praising Harper because he's the ONLY PM who put any of Chrtien's war up to a vote... but you can't do that.

What part of "The politics are irrelevant" don't you understand? The point of being there is lost. You continually amaze me.

You agreed with Canada's original involment as did I. I now realize the mistake and you bring up Cretien in order to defend Harper?

You are an idiot.

It's always politics, expecially on a topic like this. The fact that you want out of Afghanistan yet you won't approve of the ONLY people who are getting us out says a great deal about you.
I aplauded the Libs who put us there because it was the right thing to do. I don't like how they did it and I don't like the way the media ignored it for those 4 years though because that reeks of politics and favoratism. I also approved the Liberals who voted for the extension to the mission.
The difference between a hack and a normal person is the ability to recognise the good beyond the party lines and accept it. Right now, you are refusing to recognise that good or even the other parties.
I'll say your posts have gotten better but I still don't see you doing any more than picking at the one party you keep telling us you support.

I'm done with that. The GG rocks. She's a seal meat eating Canadian patriot.

I agree she's a very good GG. I wonder if they will renew her mandate next year.

I should think that would be a no brainer. She says exactly what we like and theres's been none of the hoity, extravagant junkets that the last GG was known for.

Which is pretty amazing considering how harsh the criticism many people, specifically myself, but I'm sure others, gave her when she was nominated. So far, she's much better than I could ever imagine.

The day I seriously consider being graded by you is the day I move for a self committal.

I’ll try this again (but I’m sure you aren’t intellectually equipped to understand it this time any more than any of the other times).

I NO LONGER SUPPORT THE CONSERVATIVE PARTY. In fact after many years of providing them both monetarily and by voting for them, I do not support any party at the moment. When my membership expires next year, it will not be renewed.

Harper and the Reform party dregs no longer represent my values.

Since I’ve only ever supported the Conservative party since the days of Stanfield, I want changes. I don’t care what the other parties do or have done at this point because I have no intention of voting for them either. That of course could change.

You have become a perfect spokesman for them. You provide blind obedience to the party dogma regardless of what they say or do and have no ability to present an impartial viewpoint. As such your opinion of my opinion is totally and completely untrustworthy.

Your inability to look at a position without the basic intellectual tool of objectivity only amplifies the complete lack of credibility you’ve demonstrated in every topic you turn into an opportunity for some partisan political statement.

Until someone else is sitting in the PM’s chair, I’m going to continue to pay attention to what Harper and his thugs are doing, not ranting inconsolably over what the NDP or Liberals might be thinking.

Got it now?
