$1:
The federal government has asked Canada's privacy commissioner to look into whether the RCMP should have passed on personal information from the national gun registry to a pollster.

There is no way that personal information collected by the government should be given to other than those who have a legitimate need to have access to it.

I don't think you need the privacy commissioner to tell you what's right here.

"Police say the polling was not a violation of privacy because EKOS was working as an extension of the RCMP."

I don't give a shit, they are NOT the gov or the police and have no business with this list. IF it ever got out, it could be used by criminal to target people for theft of firearms. Which would mean more illegal black market guns.

Another RCMP fuck up, add it to the growing list.

We've got Toronto going apeshit about allegedly "illegally" stored guns and the putains who run the Plod are giving out the names of gun owners. [?]

The registry has already been hacked on a number of occasions.
