No, it didn't. If Trudeau and Freeland had approached the original re-negotiations from a position of good faith instead of trying to shove their mamby-pamby, touchy-feely non-negotiable virtue signaling bullshit into the agreement, this probably wouldn't have led to the bombastic rhetoric.
As for being a security threat, considering how porous PM Groper had made the border I'd tend to agree with Trump. For Christ sake, Trudeau is letting terrorists remain in Canada while people who came into Canada under the same "conditions" as Maryam Monsef are being deported and/or stripped of their citizenship in record numbers.
The reality is Canada itself is no security threat to the US. Trudeau on the other hand is a security threat to Canada.
