Stan Lee, the man responsible for much of the Marvel Universe, has died ... Stan's daughter tells TMZ.

    Poor Stan. His final days were hard with everybody fighting over control of his estate.

    R.I.P. Stan Lee (1922-2018)

    There was never a more classy guy in the comic book world. I have enjoyed following him on Twitter for a while, and will miss his upbeat and funny tweets.

    I bought my first comic book at the age of 10, and it was a copy of The Punisher. Even though I've always been more partial to DC Comics, whenever Stan Lee spoke, I listened. If it were not for people like him, as well as his creative vision, the comic book world would be a shell of what it is today.

    So bummed at hearing the news today. I never read comic books but his influence on popular culture is undeniable and indelible.
