I beg to differ. Preservation can only be done in a natural habitat, with natural environmental factors and risks, including death. If we are the cause for their lack of safety, then it's us that must regulate ourselves.

This wouldn�t have happened in a Zoo, so as long as there�s so called hunters who are willing to pay huge sums of money to corruptible people Zoos are the best defence for endangered species.
No, the only difference is the levels of abuse. A lion or a gorilla can only be what they are in the wild. A prison is no more a conservation facility for people than a zoo is for animals.
