The Detroit Red Wings held off a last-gasp rally by the Pittsburgh Penguins late in the third period of Game 6 to capture the 11th Stanley Cup in franchise history on Wednesday night.

    Even though I was cheering for the Pens, this is a well deserved win by Hockeytown, USA...!!!

    things were quiet in Detroit last night despite having all those surplus GM suvs and pickups to burn.
