All we could get on the radio in Idaho, Oregon, southern Washington State and Montana was country...kind of grows on you after 14 days or so of nothing else. Variety is lacking to say the least. There must be about fifty OK songs in the last decade that get played over and over.
I grew up on country music, then I started listening to other genres and man, I feel like I should sue my parents for subjecting me to country. its not alll bad, but man, it's up there with RAP on my "can't stand hearing most of it" list. the crazy part, my mom the country fan used to love Ozzy, WHAT HAPPENED!? lol

What happens when you play country music backwards?.....The accident was a near miss, the guy she spent the night with was her brother, the horse doesn't die.....and they live happily ever after.
Anyone who claims not to like a certain genre of music probaly isn't familiar with it.
I don't like every song in every genre, but I like most of what I hear. I like a variety.
I think the only genre I truly don't like is jazz. I haven't heard a lot and I don't want to.
You just haven't heard any that you like yet.
I think country music being good for the heart depends on the country music. There is some downright banal crap out there that seems to make up about 90% of the genre.
a study of 10...slow news day!
...country roads, take me home.
I love country music.
