HMCS Protecteur marks 40th birthday

This year marks a major milestone in the life and history of the supply ship HMCS Protecteur. On August 30, the ship celebrated the 40th anniversary of her commissioning into the Canadian Navy.

There comes a point where you start dreading your birthdays.

This ship has reached that point, along with the Sea King, Iroquois destroyers, etc.

I was thinking the same thing too....of course, the standard politically correct officer response to the media. I guess they have a course in that in RMC.
