    Coderre stood up to all comers until Michael Ignatieff reversed himself and cleared the way for Cauchon to get his wish. Under a leader-supervised swap, Coderre's pick for Outremont, businesswoman Nathalie Le Prohon, will be running in the adjacent riding of Jeanne-Le Ber.


    These guys have zero chance of winning an election without getting back a forest of their traditional seats in Quebec. So Iggy pulls a stunt that humiliates his Quebec lieutenant?

    This just in, " Liberal MP Denis Coderre resigns as Michael Ignatieff's Quebec lieutenant saying he no longer as "the moral authority" to be the chief Liberal party organizer in Quebec.

    MONTREAL - Liberal stalwart Denis Coderre has resigned as the party's Quebec lieutenant and defence critic.

    He says he will remain a member of Parliament but no longer believes he has the confidence of his leader, Michael Ignatieff. Coderre has expressed support for the leader, but fired a shot in Ignatieff's direction at a news conference in Montreal this morning.

    He says events of recent days send a message that the Liberal Party of Canada is run by Toronto advisers - not by party members close to the grassroots.

    It's not like Harper's going to benefit after calling the whole province separatists. All these two bozos have done is guaranteed that the Bloc will be bigger next election, not smaller.

    Quebec Liberals who are fed up with the Toronto party will either choose NDP or Conservative, or to stay at home. Their not likely to go to the Bloc.

    You think anyone is going to vote Conservative after Harper's "Separatist" labels from last fall and this summer...they must be spiking that blue kool-aid you so often indulge in.

    It's the red kool-aid that you're hoping keeps the spurned Quebec faithfull to Team Toronto.

    Just as we see that Liberals don't elect their own leader, don't vote on their own policy, we see they don't elect their own candidates either. One must wonder why they even bother to be members if their opinions are not trusted.

    What's even more shocking was this was from Chantal H�bert who is a huge Liberal supporter.

    Why are we afraid to call a spade a spade?

    The entire foundation of the Bloc is to separate from Canada. It's the whole reason why the party exists.

    If the Marijuana Party went National with a platform, it's very clear what their foundation is and we wouldn't hesitate to call those who vote for such a party "pot heads" as that's what the party stands for.

    The Bloc stands for Quebec and the separation of Quebec. Period.

    Not at all. They are separatists bastards. I don't like the Bloc anymore than most Canadians (I've also got our resident separatists on ignore BTW), but what can I do about them? Perhaps you remember this thread;

    All I've said was;

    All these two bozos have done is guaranteed that the Bloc will be bigger next election, not smaller.


    That means Iggy AND Harper will be to blame for the Bloc gaining seats in Quebec whenever the next election is.
