Wow! It seems to me that a Liberal Leader's biggest enemy is their mouth. Iggy has no concept of media sound bytes. Everytime he opens his mouth, he shoots himself in the foot.
Stephy (as you call him) has parliament right were he wants them. He doesn't have to take crap any from Jack because it's Jack not Harper that doesn't want an election. All all the Conservatives have to do to engineer their own defeat at a time of their choosing would be to poke Jack in the eye with something he can't accept.
Iggy better be careful because one of these times Harper's going to give him that election he wants and I don't think it Iggy will be happy with its results particularly now that the Quebec wing is in disarray.
"Beej" said How many times has Iggy tried to bring down the government? He can't even get it right! Once again the Liberals
Isn't this the first?
Second I think but it doesn't really matter. Iggy has painted himself into a corner by vowing to defeat the government by opposing anything they put forward and by bringing non-confidence motions forward.
This comes after the record.. 44? abstentions Dion made. The party is serionsly on the skids.
I just hope the NDP can rise to the big leagues because our system needs a strong opposition to ensure things don't get out of hand like they did under Chretien's majorities.
Does this seem like good strategy to anyone? I'd like to hear what some Liberals have to say about this. It just doesn't seem to make any sense to piss-off the 'undecided' with this childishness. Iggy's star is going south like a duck in winter and he's doing his very best to make a mockery of the parliamentary process. I support the guy in doing the job of the Official Opposition, but this crosses the line. If he's going to turn this parliament into a series of non-confidence votes, how's the business of government going to get done?
Bend over Stephy, Jacks here
