OTTAWA � Rideau Hall launched a new website Friday with numerous references to Gov. Gen. Michaelle Jean as "head of state," the latest development in the controversy over who, exactly, is Canada's head of state.

    Supporting the seal hunt is one thing, usurping the position of the head of state of a nation is quite another. It's like comparing apples to bowling balls.
