In an interview with CBCs Evan Solomon for an upcoming edition of The House, however, Ignatieff said that doesnt mean his party could not work with the government on some issues.
What? Crying like a little bitch then giving up worked well enough for Dion. Maybe Iffy just needs a harsh enviromental policy and a promise of higher taxes.. along with that National Child care Program they've been talking about for decades.
Ah "Iffy". A man you respect and admire. The right man with the right polices. Shame he didn't run for the cons eh? Then you'd at least call him Mr Iffy.
A great jockey on a cow still won't win a race. Didn't you learn yet that a party is far more than just a charismatic leader? You need things like a well thought out policy that appeals to average Canadians.
You guys keep thinking that all you need is an Obama and all those stupid voters will put down their beer & popcorn and vote for you, reguardless if the shit you talk.
I hope there is more to the interview than this. It's all blather, no substance. It's really no different from what he has been saying all along but subliminally he needs to get the message across that with his party being in the dumpster he's not dumb enough to force an election.
Iggy's world is falling apart all around him. Support dropping in the polls, decention among the ranks and even his senators are telling him to fly a kite.
Donations will be the next thing to dry up. Being out of power and without the ability to steal tax payers money should keep the LPC broke for a very long time.

When I hear names like Charest or McGuinty as leader I start laughing. Charest is older than the old guard and in Ontario every day seems to result in a new case of fraud.
I listened to M.Ignatieff on the house this morning... he was quite clear on what his goals are.. he has done the right thing by keeping this government accountable. Had he not pushed the issue the torys wouldn't have kept their word on the stimulus package etc. He said that he did not want an election and that wasn't the idea behind the no confidence vote.. He said he would support the government when it was for the benefit of Canadians and not support it when it wasn't .. and that is what opposition is all about... he is doing the right thing.

Yeah.. Just like us Tories only vote Tory, right?
Well you do.
