A young Toronto team whose previous exposure to the NHL playoffs was largely watching them on TV is looking to make a little post-season history of its own.
Shhh. You hear that? It's the sound of Canuck and Canadiens fans grinding their teeth. And why are they grinding their teeth? Well first off their teams have long since exited the playoffs while the Leafs persevere. Second they still can't sit down because their asses were spanked so hard. Oh, and Go Leafs Go.

"2Cdo" said I too am surprised at a few things in this series.
1. The Leafs, for the most part, are playing good solid hockey. 2. Reimer is standing on his head! 3. Boston has looked both excellent and awful.
Boston has had some amazing spurts of dominant hockey. If they could level out and play consistent, they'd be better. The Leafs have been more consistent with their effort.
Boston is definitely on the ropes but they'll have a big help with the home crowd tonight.

Well "long since exited the playoffs" is a bit of a stretch. If Toronto loses, all anyone remembers is a first-round exit by both teams.
That said, the old man is a Leafs fan so now the Canucks are gone, I've jumped on board with him.

I wouldn't agree with that.
Toronto wasn't expected to make the playoffs let alone taking it to game 7 against the Bruins in the first round.
Toronto has exceeded expectations while other teams have fallen short.
They look good....and Reimer is looking fantastic in net.

Quel suprise.

If that's supposed to be French, "surprise" (I corrected your spelling) is feminine, so it's "Quelle surprise".
No need to thank me.

I guess expecting a little bit of hockey chat without the little jabs was too high of a goal to set.

Considering his well-documented English skills, I wouldn't expect his French to be much better.

I don't hockey chat with dicks. Just one of my rules in life.

This is true, Zippy hates the competition.
