Looking out the back window at the Safeway gas bar it's at 1.164. That is low for around here, safeway and cosco have the best price. I've seen 1.239 elsewhere. It was 1.099 on Monday.
The days of cheap gas are over. 5 years from now, we'll think $1.50/l gas is a bargain.
It's not so irritating that gas is expensive. We know it'll get more expensive as it becomes more scarce. I also don't mind paying high gas taxes to discourage consumption, pay for roads, fund alternative energy research. But it pisses me off is when the oil companies are colluding to line their pockets. I think the oil companies should have to publish their fuel prices and maintain them for 60-day periods. We shouldn't permit them to run their prices up and down like a whore's underpants.

I run two vehicles, 2 boats and 2 snowmobiles. Gas is plenty enough expensive.
Let's just say I decided to park the 460 cu in and insure the old Safari van... just hit $1.359 here
Love them old Dodge engines. Gas guzzling dinosaurs but man they'd pull a 5 bedroom house without breaking 3 grand.
Ours is at 1.49/Lt
Sheeeit, and here I thought it was only us on the West Coast who were getting totally f*cked over....
