The divorce between filmmaker, anti-capitalist Michael Moore and his wife is bringing many details to surface, including that the two own nine homes, and are worth $50 million.
And this is surprising how? The guy is another rags to riches knob who, because of his immense new found wealth figures he should get to tell we plebeians how to live, think and act.
It doesn't matter whether it's Michael Moore, Al Gore or Jim Baker they're all pretty much the same, making a buck from gullible people who, without thinking for themselves believe all the crap they spout.
No, only the Kochs et al should be allowed to wallow in the lucre, since they're honest about it - fuck everybody else, including the adoring fans we see above here. That's the ticket. People who argue for less inequality should all have to wear hair shirts and eat locusts to prove they are not hypocrites. Then of course they'd be deemed to be envious instead.
I thought his movies dealt with the American auto industry, gun control, healthcare and the War in Iraq, not climate change. Oh wait, I'm right.
I guess success (and its trappings) is only cool if you're a rapacious conservative...
He's a socialist. As such, it's hypocritical of him to preacher greater equality while having more than one house. Of course if he has one house, there are plenty of people with no houses, so the haters would say he should have no house. And what about those with no housing - really he should live on the street and eat out of garbage cans to have any validity to his arguments. Betcha he has cadillac level private health insurance too, the phony bastard. He should go to Cuba for his medical needs, since he loves them so much.
Five points for picking up the Obscure Cultural Reference.
I'm curious as to how many on this site knows where that line came from.
I give up.
No wait...is that one that goes "And they're all made out of tick-tacky and they all look just the same".
You know if I was writing that song today I would add a verse that said...
"Except Michael Moore who's fat and gross and rich, but wants the rest of you starving and rolling in the gutter of mediocrity to show how benevolent he is in allowing you what he and his commie fatboy buddies call equality".

Or, you know, just one house.

Yes, there needs to be a law. While we're at it, we need to cut down the oak trees so they're the same saize as the maples.

Why is this an issue?

As for your last sentence. Yes.

That reminds me of a song.

There is trouble with the trees
For the maples want more sunlight
But the oaks ignoire their pleas.
