Scientists say they have uncovered what caused a massive ice shelf collapse off Antarctica in 2002.

    sitting over geothermal vents had nothing to do with it??

    Once again you're confusing the issue by including facts, it may not be geothermal vents but volcanoes causing the problems......the Larsen B iceshelf being the westernmost part of the Weddell Sea

    Yup. Hot air is at the root of most of this.
